Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and CMS-approved state licensure requirements.
• Active state licensure as LPN/LVN and completion of dialysis training.
• CPR certification; prior patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the safe operation of hemodialysis machines and monitor patient status.
• Record vital signs, weight, and dialysis parameters accurately.
• Evaluate vascular access patency and cannulation as delegated.
• Maintain infection control practices and safety of equipment and environment.
• Document treatment data and report changes to the RN or supervisor.
