Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our dialysis team in the Columbus area. You will provide direct patient care, perform dialysis procedures, monitor treatments, and educate patients and families about ESRD and medications.

Ideal candidates have an LPN/LVN license, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience; hemodialysis experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing (LPN, LVN).
• Current appropriate State licensure.
• One year medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Hemodialysis experience preferred but not required.
• ICU experience preferred but not required.
• CPR Certification required.
• Nurses Technical Training Program completion upon hire or soon thereafter.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care for dialysis patients.
• Perform all technical aspects of dialysis procedures as prescribed.
• Monitor and document dialysis treatment parameters.
• Educate patients and families about ESRD, dialysis, diet, and medications.
• Assist with emergency procedures and maintain a safe environment.
