Fresenius Medical Care in Oklahoma City is seeking a licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse to support dialysis treatments under the supervision of an RN. The role includes operating dialysis equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining accurate treatment records.

The candidate should have a current state LPN/LVN license, CPR certification, and preferably some hemodialysis experience. Training will be provided; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Formación

• Current appropriate state licensure as LPN/LVN.
• Six months of hemodialysis experience preferred but not required.
• Successful completion of a hemodialysis training course.
• Successful completion of CPR certification.
• Ishihara Color Blindness test may be required as a condition of employment.
• Effective communication skills in verbal and written form.

Responsabilidades

• Provides patient care under RN supervision for dialysis patients in acute settings.
• Performs technical dialysis procedures as prescribed and reports any issues to the RN.
• Maintains a safe, clean dialysis environment and supports quality improvement activities.
• Sets up and primes equipment for renal replacement therapies under supervision.
• Records accurate patient treatment data in EMS and ACES systems.
• Monitors patient condition, vital signs, and responds to emergencies per protocol.
