Job summary

CH01 CHE Fresenius Medical Care (Schweiz) AG in Ohio seeks an LPN/LVN to join the hemodialysis team. You will provide patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and perform dialysis treatments according to the prescribed plan.

The role requires current state licensure, CPR certification, good communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting. You will document treatments, monitor vitals, and ensure safety and cleanliness in the dialysis facility.

Qualifications

• Six months of hemodialysis experience preferred but not required.
• Successful completion of a training course in theory and practice of hemodialysis.
• Ishihara color blindness test is required as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse for assigned patient(s) in the acute setting as permitted by state requirements.
• Perform all technical aspects of dialysis procedures for assigned patients as prescribed to administer and monitor treatments in accordance with current treatment plan under the direction of the Hemodialysis RN.
• Report and document all new and unusual incidences, information, complaints, or problems to the RN.
• Provide treatments for assigned patients as assigned to promote and assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment.
• Support QEP and QAI activities; participate in process improvements to achieve QEP goals.
• With documented competency, set up and prime equipment for renal replacement therapies under RN direction.
