Job summary

Concerto Renal Services is seeking a Float Dialysis Technician to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. The role involves travel across the region to fill in for staff on vacation or leave, delivering safe and effective dialysis therapy under supervision and in compliance with state and federal regulations.

You will initiate and discontinue dialysis treatments, monitor vitals, operate dialysis machines, document details, and maintain a high standard of patient care and environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on care to patients under licensed nurse supervision.
• Pre- and post-treatment vitals, weight, and vascular access assessments.
• Sets up and operates hemodialysis machines; administers heparin as permitted by state law.
• Accurately documents patient treatment details and prepares lab specimens.
• Delivers excellent service to patients, families, and staff while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and discontinue dialysis treatments per prescribed orders.
• Obtain and document vitals, weight, and vascular access assessments.
• Set up, operate, and monitor dialysis machines; administer heparin as permitted by law.
• Document treatment details and prepare lab specimens.
