SUMMARY
The Administrator is responsible for the overall daily management and operation of the clinic. The Administrator reports directly to first line regional operational management, which may be an Area Director, Regional Director, or Vice President of Operations, depending on the region/demographics.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

GROWTH
- Develop and implement processes for program growth in accordance with Company goals.
- Plan and coordinate patient scheduling to ensure timely acceptance of patients and effective staffing levels.
- Implement clinical and operational processes to improve patient health and minimize hospitalizations and missed treatments.
- Achieve financial targets including budget, labor costs, supply costs, and expenditures.
OUTCOMES
- Review incident reports; make recommendations and take appropriate actions; report at monthly QAPI meetings.
- Promote quality management through staff and patient education and involvement; lead QAPI meetings and quality improvement committees.
- Coordinate all departmental functions and develop standards for measuring patient care services, including documentation as required by ESRD Network and Medicare.
- Ensure thorough documentation of all treatments, activities, and communications in patient records.
- Meet program target goals for patient outcomes aligned with quality care and company objectives.
OPERATIONAL READINESS
- Stay current with applicable laws and regulations; ensure clinic compliance and ongoing certification.
- Develop and follow up on Corrective Action Plans for surveys.
- May assume Charge Nurse responsibilities as needed.
- Fulfill duties of the Registered Supervising Nurse or designate qualified personnel.
- Represent the facility as delegated by the Governing Body.
- Conduct meetings with governing bodies, staff, and other stakeholders; ensure timely staff meetings and quality improvement activities.
- Maintain records and reports on staff, patients, and operations.
- Plan and coordinate staffing to meet patient needs and regulations.
- Oversee maintenance of equipment and facilities, ensure safety and sanitation, and manage supplies.
- Understand water treatment and equipment mechanisms; assist with disinfection as needed.
PARTNERSHIPS
- Monitor contractual agreements; maintain collaborative relationships with Medical Director, physicians, hospitals, vendors, and community.
- Promote customer service standards and respond to inquiries or complaints.
STAFF DEVELOPMENT & RETENTION
- Ensure staff qualifications and performance; recruit, train, develop, and supervise personnel.
- Manage personnel relations, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
- Lead staff with a team-oriented approach and promote accountability.
Qualifications / Requirements
Must demonstrate leadership, judgment, analytical skills, and organizational ability. Preferred: 1 year dialysis management experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and clinical applications. Must meet state-specific requirements, including RN licensure and experience with kidney failure care. Additional certifications such as CPR are required within 90 days of hire. Must be a full-time employee and available during clinic hours.
