Job summary

U.S. Renal Care is seeking a Dialysis Facility Administrator (Finance) to oversee daily clinic operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage budgeting and staffing. The role reports to regional management and may encompass responsibilities at multiple clinics, including coordination with Medical Director and providers.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, analytical skills, and a solid background in dialysis management, with proficiency in MS Office and clinical applications.

Responsibilities

How You'll Change Lives

As a Dialysis Facility Administrator (FA) at US Renal Care, you'll directly impact the quality of care our patients receive by being responsible for the overall daily management and operation of the clinic. You'll report to the first line regional operational management (Area Director, Regional Director, or VP Operations, depending on the region). The incumbent in this role will also be responsible for facility operations in Amarillo, TX.

Operational Excellence

You’ll keep the clinic running smoothly by planning patient and staff scheduling to ensure effective staffing levels, ensuring all staff meet required qualifications, and implementing processes to improve patient health and minimize missed treatments or hospitalizations. You'll ensure the clinic is in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations and maintains all required certifications, implementing Corrective Action Plans as necessary and maintaining/submitting all clinic records, as required. You'll meet all clinic financial targets, including budget, labor costs, supply costs, and expenditures.

Safety & Quality.

You’ll ensure the highest quality care and achieve goals for corporate quality targets and patient outcomes by leading and promoting the quality management program, including education, staff involvement, QAPI meetings, and quality improvement committees. You'll make sure patient needs are met by responding to inquires or complaints, ensuring the highest customer care. You'll review and take action on any incident report, as required, and report at the monthly QAPI meeting. You'll ensure a safe and sanitary environment, making sure all equipment is maintained, an appropriate inventory of supplies is available, and assisting with any tasks related to maintenance and cleaning of equipment and supplies.

Leadership.

You’ll demonstrate effective leadership for clinic staff by promoting teamwork, communicating effectively, taking accountability, and enabling high-performing teams. You’ll closely collaborate with the Medical Director and physicians and maintain positive relationships with area hospitals, agencies, vendors, and the community. You'll be responsible for assuming (or designating a qualified Registered Nurse to assume) the Charge Nurse's and Registered Supervising Nurse responsibilities, as needed. You may also fulfil the responsibilities of facility CEO, as delegated by the Governing Body.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Requirements include:

Demonstrated ability to function in a leadership position and to perform in new and emergent situations with sound judgment.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
Strong time management and organizational skills required.
1 year previous dialysis management experience preferred.
Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Must have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); proficiency in all USRC clinical applications required within 90 days of hire.
Must meet applicable, specific state requirements. (See addendum for Administrator.

Additionally, if the nursing requirements listed below are not met, an individual may be placed in the Administrator role without them; however, in the absence of these qualifications, there must be a designated Registered Supervising Nurse at the clinic who does possess these qualifications:

Must be full-time employee of the Company and available to clinic staff during time clinic is open.
Current RN license in applicable state. License must be maintained as current and in good standing.
18 months as an RN with 6 months experience in nursing care of a patient with kidney failure.
CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
Confirmation of ability to distinguish all primary colors.
Must meet any practice requirement(s) for the applicable state. (See addendum for Registered Supervising Nurse)
