Job summary

Northwest Kidney Centers is seeking a Biomedical Engineering Technician 1 to support dialysis machines and related equipment across centers, hospitals, and home settings. You will troubleshoot and repair machinery, perform safety checks, and maintain documentation for service orders and testing protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering or a combination of higher education and equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and arrange workload under supervision.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain dialysis equipment as recommended by the manufacturer.
• Perform electrical safety on dialysis machines and related equipment.
• Collect water samples for microbiology and AAMI analysis testing as required.
• Attend monthly QAPI meetings and staff trainings.
