Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Biomedical Technician to maintain and repair dialysis machines and water treatment systems across our kidney care clinics.

You will train colleagues on operational maintenance, manage parts inventory, and collaborate with facility staff to meet safety and regulatory standards. This on-site role requires a high school diploma or GED, an electronics/biomedical technology degree if possible, and a valid driver\'s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in electronics/biomedical technology, or equivalent, preferred.
• Valid drivers license required.
• < 1 year related experience required.
• Completion of Fresenius Biomedical Technician training within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs dialysis equipment, ancillary equipment, and water treatment systems.
• Maintains the physical plant as directed.
• Ensures outside vendor services are completed per contract.
• Purchases and retains inventory of service parts.
• Performs water/dialysate sample collection and required actions.
• Conducts trend analysis on the water system to ensure proper function.
• Documents all repairs and maintenance activity.
• Assists in planning and installing biomedical equipment for safe operation.
• Provides after-hours on-call technical coverage as needed.
