Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks a Biomedical Technician to maintain and repair dialysis and water treatment equipment across our clinics, train staff, and oversee inventories. Qualifications

• Less than 1-year related experience.
• Prior experience in mechanical/automotive/construction, dialysis, or medical technical setting preferred.
• Manual dexterity to use hand tools and small power equipment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move large/bulky equipment.
• Commitment to OSHA 6S and infection-control practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs dialysis equipment and water treatment systems.
• Maintains the physical plant as directed and ensures vendor services meet contract terms.
• Manages inventory, including parts and deliveries; assists with inventory costs.
• Performs water/dialysate sample collection and actions as required.
• Documents all repairs and maintenance activities.
• Plans and assists in installing biomedical equipment for safe operation.
• Provides after-hours on-call technical coverage for clinics.
• Ensures regulatory and OSHA requirements are met with facility staff.
• Participates in monthly technical and regulatory meetings.
