We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Dialysis Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to work in patient care and a passion for helping individuals with kidney disease. As a Clinical Dialysis Technician, you will play a vital role in providing dialysis treatments and ensuring the well-being of our patients.

Location: 21400 Kelly Rd. Eastpointe, MI 48021

Department Description

Eastpointe Dialysis is a freestanding outpatient dialysis facility overseeing 117 incenter patients. The department is staffed with Nephrologists, Registered Nurses, and Dialysis Clinical Technicians. Support staff includes front desk personnel and tech leaders responsible for machine maintenance. The team provides patient education and referrals to transplant services. The clinic operates Monday through Saturday, 5:00 am to 7:30 pm, with some flexibility based on needs.

General Responsibilities

1. Perform dialysis treatments per prescribed protocols and physician orders.
2. Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing vital signs and responding to changes.
3. Set up, operate, and maintain dialysis machines, troubleshooting as needed.
4. Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed.
5. Educate patients and families about dialysis procedures, diet, and self-care.
6. Maintain accurate medical records of treatments and patient progress.
7. Follow infection control protocols and safety standards.
8. Participate in quality improvement and continuing education initiatives.
