Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit, MI is seeking a Dialysis Clinical Tech for the Float Pool on a 40-hour, day shift. You will support dialysis sessions and participate in a rotating schedule at Southeast Michigan outpatient units.

You will administer saline and heparin under physician orders, collaborate with nurses, and help ensure patient safety and outcomes in a multidisciplinary team. A high school diploma or GED is required, with Healthcare experience (NA/MA) preferred and completion of the

Qualifications

• Must have basic dialysis knowledge and patient-care skills.
• Healthcare experience preferred (NA/MA).
• Must successfully complete Greenfield Health Systems dialysis training program.

Responsibilities

• Keep the flow going – administer saline via extracorporeal system to maintain dialysis.
• Master the procedure – administer 2% xylocaine subcutaneously to initiate hemodialysis.
• Be the anticoagulant expert – administer heparin per physicians' orders with nursing team support.
