Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Hemodialysis Team Leader (RN) in New York to direct daily patient care and supervise staff. You will coordinate with physicians, ensure dialysis delivery meets standards, and mentor staff to improve outcomes.

Responsibilities include developing care plans, supervising shift operations, and participating in safety and QA activities. An RN license and dialysis experience are required; travel between facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in applicable state.
• Minimum of 9 months of nursing experience and an additional 3 months of clinical dialysis experience.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day guidance and supervision to direct patient care staff.
• Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare team members to interpret and adjust patient care plans.
• Supervise all documentation and ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures.
• Manage shift operations, staffing, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Educate patients and families about End Stage Renal Disease and dialysis therapy.
