Job summary

Alaska Dialysis in Wasilla, AK seeks an energetic Charge Nurse to oversee nursing care in our dialysis clinic. You will manage patient admissions, dialysis initiation and termination, and lead a multidisciplinary team to meet each patient’s Plan of Care.

The role requires Alaska RN license, CPR, and at least 1 year nursing experience with 6 months dialysis care; ICU experience preferred. Relocation assistance available and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Alaska RN license required.
• CPR certification current.
• Minimum 1 year clinical nursing; additional 6 months dialysis experience.
• ICU experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Good communication skills – verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of patient care and dialysis initiation/termination.
• Conduct daily rounds and mentor staff.
• Develop and monitor patient care plans.
• Ensure accurate medical record documentation.
• Educate patients and participate in rounds with medical staff.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and confidentiality.
