Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and operating dialysis machines.
• Monitor patients’ condition during treatment and report changes to RN or supervisor.
• Perform pre/post dialysis vitals, document treatment parameters, and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure infection control practices and environmental cleanliness between treatments.
• Participate in CQI activities and prepare patient charts and lab specimens as needed.
• Assist with patient education on adequacy measures and disease processes.
