Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in the United States is seeking a dedicated dialysis technician to safely set up and operate hemodialysis machines, monitor treatment, and maintain a clean, compliant treatment area.

You will assess vascular access, assist cannulation as delegated, manage anticoagulation as directed, obtain pre and post-treatment vital signs and weights, document accurately, and respond to alarms and patient needs during therapy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required within state regulation.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification within required state or CMS timeline.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training required.
• Demonstrated commitment to organization culture, values, and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines and monitor treatment safety alarms.
• Assess vascular access patency and assist cannulation as delegated.
• Take pre- and post-treatment vital signs and weights; document.
• Initiate dialysis per orders with prescribed QB and QD.
• Record treatment data accurately on the Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and participate in CQI activities.

Education
