Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Columbus, OH is seeking a dialysis technician to operate dialysis machines and monitor patients under licensed nurse supervision. You will contribute to a safe, clean environment and support CQI activities while ensuring quality patient care.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, CMS certification/licensure, and prior patient care experience. Training is provided and benefits eligibility begins after 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMS certification and state licensure within required timeline.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate dialysis machines under supervision.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Record pre/post dialysis vital signs, weight, and treatment parameters accurately.
• Monitor patient response to dialysis and report changes to the RN.
• Assist with specimen collection and processing for prescribed labs.
• Adhere to infection control policies and ensure equipment is disinfected between treatments.
