Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking staff to support the safe delivery of dialysis therapy under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Responsibilities include setting up and operating hemodialysis machines, monitoring patients during treatment, and documenting vitals and treatment data.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• CMS/state certification or licensure required per state.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient education regarding dialysis adequacy measures and monitoring.
• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines and monitor treatment parameters.
• Record vital signs, weight, and treatment data; report significant changes to RN or supervisor.
• Maintain infection control practices and cleanliness; disinfect equipment and area between treatments.
• Assist in training direct patient care staff under RN supervision.
