Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Dialysis Technician to support the safe operation of hemodialysis machines and patient care under RN supervision. You will assist with setup, monitor treatment, and document vital signs and treatment parameters to ensure quality care.

Responsibilities include patient welcome, vascular access checks, pre/post treatment assessments, and adherence to infection control policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient care in a hospital or related facility preferred.
• Ability to follow nursing supervision and facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and check wellbeing since last treatment.
• Assess vascular access patency and perform cannulation; administer heparin as allowed.
• Record pre/post treatment vital signs and weights; evaluate access pre-treatment.
• Initiate dialysis per orders including QB and QD.
• Monitor patient response to dialysis and intervene as prescribed.
• Document treatment data accurately on Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet.
