Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Oregon is seeking a dedicated Dialysis Technician to join the patient care team. You will assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines and support a safe, clean treatment environment under RN supervision.

You will monitor patient responses, record vital signs, and contribute to quality improvement activities. The role requires high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, and prior patient care experience. Travel within facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required.
• Previous patient care experience in a hospital or related facility preferred.
• Must meet state and CMS certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing patient education on adequacy measures.
• Welcome patients and monitor wellbeing during treatment.
• Evaluate vascular access for patency and assist cannulation.
• Initiate dialysis per orders including QB and QD.
• Record vital signs, weight, and treatment data accurately.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the treatment area.
• Assist in training direct care staff.
