Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dialysis technician to join the patient care team in an Oregon facility. Under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, you will set up and operate hemodialysis machines, monitor patient status, and ensure safe, effective treatment according to orders.

You will participate in education, infection control, and record-keeping activities, including vital signs, UF goals, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Assist in providing patient-specific education on adequacy measures and dialysis concepts.
• Support patient care under supervision of licensed nurse and following policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in initiating and monitoring dialysis treatment per orders and patient needs.
• Evaluate and record vital signs, weight, and treatment parameters.
• Ensure safety alarms and proper machine setup for dialysis sessions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment area and report issues to RN or supervisor.
• Complete documentation including treatment sheets and progress notes.
