Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dialysis patient care role within the health care team to provide safe and effective dialysis therapy under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will assist with setup and operation of hemodialysis machines, monitor patient response, record vital signs, and maintain a clean, safe treatment area.

Participation in CQI activities and adherence to infection control policies are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with hemodialysis and vascular access evaluation preferred.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow orders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to changes per physician orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe treatment area and document treatment data.
