Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dedicated team member to join our dialysis health care team, responsible for the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines under supervision. You will engage in patient education regarding adequacy measures and monitor treatment parameters throughout each session.

The role requires ensuring safety, proper documentation, infection control, and collaboration with nursing staff to maintain high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• CMS certification requirements must be met within state or CMS timelines.
• CPR certification required and dialysis training completion is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines and monitor safety.
• Provide patient education and assess wellbeing before and after treatment.
• Record vital signs, weight, and treatment parameters accurately.
• Evaluate vascular access patency and perform cannulation as delegated.
• Maintain infection control and clean equipment and environment.
• Participate in CQI activities and document treatment data.
