Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dialysis technician to support the safe and effective delivery of dialysis therapy under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Responsibilities include setting up hemodialysis machines, monitoring patient status, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Assist other health care members in providing patient-specific education regarding adequacy measures such as Online Clearance Monitoring (OLC), Adequacy Monitoring Program (AMP), Urea Kinetic Modeling (UKM).
• Initiate dialysis treatment according to prescribed orders including blood flow and dialysate flow.
• Monitor patients’ response to dialysis therapy and document accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Support setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Evaluate vascular access patency and perform cannulation as delegated.
• Obtain pre- and post-treatment vital signs and weights; monitor intradialytic problems.
