Job summary

DaVita is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic in Charlotte, NC. You will provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

You will deliver safe care, monitor patients, and educate them about treatment and kidney health while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
• Physically able to stand and work long shifts.
• Willing to float between local clinics as needed.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
• Record vital signs and patient data.
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.
