Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines and monitor dialysis treatments.
• Evaluate vascular access patency and perform cannulation as delegated.
• Document treatment data and vital signs accurately.
• Administer heparin as delegated or as allowed by state law.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and participate in CQI activities.
• Assist in training direct care staff under supervision of a nurse.
