Job summary

You will monitor vascular access, record vital signs, and participate in infection control and staff training as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; licensure per state regulations within required timelines.
• Previous patient care experience in a hospital or related facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Evaluate vascular access and perform cannulation as directed.
• Record pre/post-treatment vitals, weight, and treatment parameters.
• Maintain infection control and prepare/handle lab specimens as required.
• Educate patients about treatment adequacy and care under supervision.
• Provide support for training direct care staff and self-care under RN supervision.
