Job summary

Qualifications

• CPR certification required after dialysis training.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate patients during dialysis and respond to intradialytic problems.
• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines per prescribed orders.
• Perform pre/post treatment vital signs, weight, and documentation on treatment sheets.
• Maintain safety and infection control practices and clean/disinfect equipment and area between treatments.
• Assist in training direct patient care staff under RN supervision.
