Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment in California is seeking a Dialogue Intern to assist in creating, editing, and implementing in-game dialogue for AAA projects. You will work with audio, design, and narrative teams, supporting VO sessions, asset integration, and QA within the dialogue pipeline.

You will gain mentorship from senior team members, learn the end-to-end dialogue production process, and contribute to storytelling through gameplay experiences.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate degree with emphasis on audio production, recording or engineering.
• Interest in game dialogue, audio production, and storytelling through video games.
• Familiarity with Pro Tools, Reaper and similar DAWs.
• Understanding of signal flow, audio editing and mastering techniques.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing, scheduling, and tracking VO recording sessions to support dialogue production.
• Edit, organize, and implement dialogue assets into the game engine and dialogue databases.
• Support dialogue-related QA, bug fixing, and polish tasks to ensure high-quality dialogue.
• Collaborate with audio, design, and narrative teams to support dialogue integration across projects.
• Gain hands-on experience with the full pipeline of dialogue creation: recording, editing, implementation, and testing.
• Learn dialogue production techniques and workflows alongside experienced team members.
