Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program and current radiographer certification/registration.
• Demonstrated knowledge of radiation safety and patient care during examinations.
• Ability to operate fixed and portable radiographic equipment and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine to complex diagnostic radiographic examinations using fixed and portable imaging equipment.
• Positions patients and adjusts technical factors to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Provides patient care and monitors patient condition during exams with emphasis on safety.
• Operates, troubleshoots, and maintains radiographic equipment and reports malfunctions.
• Maintains radiology records and participates in QA, infection control, and operations activities.
