Job summary

This role requires completion of an accredited radiologic technology program and current certification/registration as a radiographer, with responsibilities spanning record-keeping, infection control, QA, and radiology

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology educational program.
• Current certification/registration as a radiographer.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine to complex diagnostic radiographic examinations using fixed and portable imaging equipment.
• Positions patients and selects or adjusts technical factors to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Provides patient care and ensures radiation safety by explaining procedures, screening patients, and monitoring patient condition during exams.
• Operates, troubleshoots, and maintains radiographic equipment while identifying and reporting equipment malfunctions.
• Maintains accurate radiology records and participates in infection control, quality assurance, and radiology operations activities.
