Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an ARRT recognized education program or ARRT registered or registry eligible.
• Must pass ARRT registry within 1 year of hire date.
• NJ staff must have current NJ Radiologic Technologist License and be registered before hire date.

Responsibilities

• Identifies patient and exam and performs diagnostic radiographic services with care and high technical quality.
• Ensures continuity of technical care and educates patients on radiologic procedures.
• Demonstrates competency with RIS/HIS modules relevant to the job.
• Assists in data collection for Radiology QA/PI program.
• Maintains area readiness with equipment and supplies.
• Adheres to downtime procedures to ensure information availability for patient care.
• Pursues professional development via in-services/continuing education and maintains education binder.
• Provides patient education about examinations.
• Annual peer review of films to meet department standards.
