Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures under the Radiologist's direction. You will produce high quality radiographs, obtain patient histories, explain routine procedures, and maintain documentation and records as directed.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining radiology equipment, ensuring safety and patient comfort, and coordinating daily imaging procedures. Ideal candidates understand state guidelines and prioritize accuracy and care.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with imaging workflows and safety guidelines.
• Ability to set up, operate and maintain radiology equipment.
• Ability to explain procedures and address patient questions.
• Emphasis on equipment care, cleaning and sanitization.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging and treatment processes in line with guidelines.
• Operates and maintains imaging equipment, including troubleshooting.
• Obtains patient history, explains procedures and answers questions.
• Ensures safety and comfort of patients during procedures.
• Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
