Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School of Sonography.
• Successful completion of department specific orientation.
• Certified by ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers).
• Maintains required BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologist with special examinations.
• Demonstrate competency with RIS and PACS.
• Enter patient information and set up equipment for optimal image quality.
• Maintain clean examination rooms and stock levels in procedure rooms.
• Ensure patient safety and provide high-quality diagnostic imaging.
