Job summary

Kadlec Regional Medical Center is seeking an ultrasound technologist to independently perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures across pediatric to geriatric patients under the direction of a Radiologist. The role supports Providence’s patient-focused care culture in a team-driven environment.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited ultrasound program credential, an associate degree or higher in diagnostic sonography, and ARDMS or equivalent certification with BLS.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program.
• Associate's Degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent.
• ARDMS certification upon hire or NRT Sonography credential.
• BLS certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients under the direction of a Radiologist.

Education

Associate's Degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program

National Certification from ARDMS or equivalent (ARDMS certification upon hire)

National Registered Technologist - Sonography (NRT) upon hire

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
