Job summary

Providence Swedish Medical Center is seeking an ultrasound technologist to independently perform diagnostic ultrasound scans across neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients, with procedures under the direction of a Radiologist.

For the Breast Center, the role includes breast ultrasound scans, performed independently and under radiologist supervision, with a focus on quality imaging and patient care across diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or two-year technical program or equivalent experience.
• Completion of an approved ultrasound technology training program.
• National ARDMS certification upon hire; BLS required.
• Preferred ARDMS in Abdomen and OB for Imaging.
• Prior ultrasound experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs diagnostic ultrasound scans on neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• For Breast Center: independently performs diagnostic ultrasound scans on breast under Radiologist direction.
