Job summary

Methodist McKinney Hospital is seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technologist to perform the full range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures under radiologist supervision. You will assist with invasive biopsy procedures and ensure accurate documentation of findings.

The role requires ARDMS registration in good standing, BLS certification, and competency with RIS and PACS systems. Strong patient communication and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• ARDMS registration in good standing; physics, vascular and abdominal preferred.
• Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• US technologist role with ultrasound procedures and patient communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures under Radiologist supervision.
• Assist with invasive US biopsy procedures as needed.
• Capture and document ultrasound findings; communicate results to Radiologist.
• Operate imaging support equipment: transducers, RIS, PACS; maintain inventory.
