Job summary

Qualifications

• ARDMS credentialed in ultrasound.

• Ability to explain ultrasound process to patients to alleviate anxiety.

Responsibilities

• Under indirect supervision of Radiologist, performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures per protocols.
• Assists physicians with invasive US biopsy procedures.
• Performs and evaluates ultrasound exams and documents results.
• Operates imaging support equipment (transducers, printers, RIS/PACS).
• Maintains exam room and supplies; ensures patient comfort and safety.
• Communicates findings to Radiologist and documents pertinent information.
