Job summary

UF Health Central Florida in The Villages is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform routine, emergent, and specialized sonographic examinations. Responsibilities include providing patient care and exercising professional judgment in executing procedures.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiology and have ARRT or Vascular Certification within 6 months. Basic Life Support certification is also required.

Qualifications

• ARRT or Vascular Certification within 6 months, either RVT (through ARDMS) or RVS (through CCI).
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, emergent and specialized sonographic examinations.
• Provide patient care.
• Exercise professional judgment in the performance of procedures.
