- Performs all requested sonographic examinations as ordered by the attending physician
- Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations
- Maintains a daily log of patients and completes exam billing forms
Responsibilities
- Maintains patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Coordinates work schedule to assure workload coverage
- Prepares preliminary reports and communicates findings to physicians
- Assists with daily operations of the sonographic laboratory
- Participates in laboratory accreditation activities
- Addresses problems of patient care as they arise and resolves them
- Organizes daily work schedule and related clerical duties
