Primary Duties:

  • Acquiresordered images including evaluating these images for technical quality. Sends images toappropriate destinationsfor interpretation.

  • Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas. Reports any unsafe or potentially unsafe conditions. Maintains X-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order.Performs preventative maintenance regularly.

  • Obtains patient history, answers patient questions, and explains procedures.Transports patients to radiographic room and prepares andmaintainsroom.

  • Performs radiographic examinations.Prepareswrittendocumentation suchas evaluation results, individualized treatment plans, and progress reports.

  • Requests and orderssupplies.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in the State of Maryland.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS).

  • Associate degreepreferred.
