JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the verification testing, diagnosing, and repairing of electronic circuit board assemblies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Diagnose and repair basic powered functional test failures (power, traffic, network issues) to a component level on electronic circuit board assemblies while maintaining minimal quantities of Engineering and Component hold assemblies.
2. Exhibit proficiency in the use of electronic test and measurement equipment.
3. Understand and utilize assembly documentation such as schematics, BOMs, EC documents, visuals, debug, testing tools, and procedures.
4. Assist Test Engineering department in ongoing data evaluation programs to improve diagnosis efficiency.
5. Understand, recognize, and execute Jabil production requirements, rules, policies, and procedures.
6. Work as a team member to achieve Diagnostic department’s process yield goals.
7. Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
8. Comply with all procedures within the company security policy.
9. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, and fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry.
• Effective communication skills to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Problem-solving skills including data collection, fact establishment, and drawing valid conclusions.
• Proficiency with personal computers, Windows OS, and related software.
• Advanced PC skills, including knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and understand visual aids.
• Ability to follow simple instructions and deal with standardized situations.
• Basic arithmetic skills and ability to interpret graphs.
