Job Description
We are currently looking to hire experienced Computer Troubleshooting Technician candidates that have a fundamental understanding and/or hands on experience troubleshooting computer hardware. The ideal candidate will be able to work diligently and accurately and will possess a great problem-solving ability in order to fix issues and ensure functionality. If you are a computer hobbyist who doesn't have any professional experience in the technical industry but you love building computers, researching technology, upgrading hardware, troubleshooting computer hardware and/or gaming then this is your chance to turn your passion into a career!
Recent college graduates with or without professional experience are encouraged to apply - local candidates highly preferred.
Job Duties:
· Diagnose and repair failures with computer / server hardware and electronic circuit board assemblies
· Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues and capability to get the IP address from the network card, ifconfig, ipconfig, etc.
· Experience troubleshooting computer hardware components such as: RAM, CPU, Network Cards (NIC), Motherboard, PSU, etc.
· Exhibit proficiency in the use of test and measurement equipment.
· Work as a team member to achieve Diagnostic departments process yield goals.
· Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
· Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
· May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Skills:
· Relevant certifications and/or an IT related degree (Associates or Bachelors) is a huge plus
· Thorough knowledge of computer hardware components (building / troubleshooting / etc)
· Strong troubleshooting/debugging skills
· Very good communication abilities
· Exceptional organizing and time-management skills
· Work experience as a computer technician and/or computer building hobbyist

· Strong mathematical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
· Experience with Linux commands and BMC/IPMI.
· Experience with computer hardware and repair.
· Proven debug efficiency.
