Diagnostic Technician II (Day Shift 403)

Job Summary

Responsible for verification testing, diagnosing, and repairing electronic circuit board assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair basic powered functional test failures (power, traffic, network issues) to a component level on electronic circuit board assemblies, maintaining minimal quantities of Engineering and Component hold assemblies.
• Exhibit proficiency in the use of electronic test and measurement equipment.
• Utilize assembly documentation such as Schematics, BOMs, EC documents, Visuals, Debug, Testing tools, and procedures.
• Assist Test Engineering in data evaluation to improve diagnosis efficiency.
• Follow all production requirements, rules, policies, and procedures.
• Work as part of a team to meet Diagnostic department’s process yield goals.
• Adhere to safety, health, and security policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge Requirements

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts like probability, statistical inference, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Effective communication skills for presenting information and responding to questions.
• Problem-solving skills including data collection and analysis.
• Proficiency with Windows OS and related software, including Jabil’s software packages.
• Basic writing skills and ability to understand visual aids.
• Ability to follow simple instructions and perform basic arithmetic and graph interpretation.
