Overview
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications (Level I):

  • Demonstrates written, interpersonal, or communication skills as appropriate to position
  • Basic knowledge of telemetry monitoring and/or laboratory and/or imaging or completion of approved training program for a Medical Assistant

Minimum Qualifications (Level II):

  • All of the above, including working knowledge of lab and/or imaging

Licensure/Registration/Certification:

  • BLS

Desired Qualifications:

  • Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCPBOC)
Responsibilities

Provides physicians with clinical data necessary for patient treatment by performing diagnostic and patient evaluation procedures.
