Job Summary

Responsible for in-circuit verification testing, diagnosing, and repairing electronic circuit board assemblies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Diagnose and repair opens, shorts, and Boundary scan failures to the component level on electronic circuit board assemblies.
  2. Exhibit proficiency in using electronic test and measurement equipment.
  3. Understand and utilize assembly documentation such as schematics, BOMs, visuals, debug, testing tools, and procedures.
  4. Assist the Test Engineering department in data evaluation to improve diagnosis efficiency.
  5. Understand, recognize, and execute Jabil production requirements, rules, policies, and procedures.
  6. Work as part of a team to achieve Diagnostic department’s process yield goals.
  7. Adhere to all safety, health, and security rules and regulations.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
Knowledge Requirements
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, geometry, and trigonometry.
  • Apply concepts like fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and the public.
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Operate a personal computer with Windows OS and related software.
  • Advanced PC skills, including familiarity with Jabil’s software packages.
  • Write simple correspondence and understand visual aids.
  • Follow simple instructions and deal with standardized situations.
  • Perform basic arithmetic operations and interpret graphs.
