Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification preferred.
• Less than 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment and perform varied ultrasound procedures per department standards.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend call for the Ultrasound department.
• Identify each patient and review orders for consistency with examinations.
• Review examinations for technical accuracy and communicate results to radiologists.
• Maintain sterile technique and high level disinfection in the OR and other settings.
