CommonSpirit Health's Holy Cross Hospital – West Valley is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to deliver high-quality patient care and perform a broad range of ultrasound exams. You will serve as a clinical resource and model for best practices within the medical imaging department.

The role requires strong technical proficiency in sonography, commitment to patient-centered care, and leadership to support colleagues while maintaining current standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED must be completed.
• ARDMS RDMS OB/GYN or AB/BR credentials, or ARRT RT(S) credentials; ARDMS RDCS may apply.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, pelvic, OB, head, extremity, retroperitoneal, small parts and vascular.
• May perform cardiac procedures as required by entity; follows ALARA to minimize exposure.
• Produces quality images in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
• Prepares patient for exam and provides information and instructions; responds to needs.
• Monitors patient and equipment during procedure and documents any unusual occurrences.
• Inputs charges and data for procedures and supplies used during exams.
