Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida is seeking an experienced Equipment Engineer to support our laundry operations. You will diagnose and repair PLCs, inverters, pneumatic and steam systems, ensuring reliable performance of complex machinery.

The role requires 4 years of hands-on experience with electronic controls and high-volume laundry equipment; full-time with days and weekends shift. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience working with electronic controls, PLCs, inverters, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Experience as an engineer in a high-volume laundry preferred.
• Experience on steam operated equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes knowledge of PLCs, inverters, and pneumatic and steam systems in laundry operations.
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots issues with laundry equipment to identify root causes.
• Repairs and replaces faulty components in mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, and hot oil systems.
• Uses test equipment to troubleshoot and verify functionality after repair.

• Utilizes knowledge of PLCs, inverters, and pneumatic and steam systems, and how they are applied in laundry operations.
• Utilizes all available resources to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment.
• Verifies completed tasks by testing complete functionality of equipment after repair is completed.
• Inspects equipment for possible failure of parts and reports it immediately.
• Uses proper electrical installation and repair techniques in a workman like manner with panels, conduits, flex, cut in boxes, devices and components.
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots issues with laundry equipment to identify the root cause of malfunctions.
• Repairs and replaces faulty components in mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, and hot oil systems.
• Utilizes a variety of test equipment to troubleshoot and verify the functionality of repaired systems.

Work Experience

• 4 years of experience working with electronic controls, PLC's, inverters, pneumatic systems and hydraulic systems
• 2 years of experience as an engineer in a high-volume laundry [Preferred]
• 2 years of experience on thermal oil operated ironers [Preferred]
• 2 years of experience on steam operated equipment [Preferred]

Pay Range

$19.96 - $37.11
