Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation. You will support licensed practitioners and apply ALARA principles in clinical settings.

You will evaluate image quality, adapt imaging protocols, and educate students and staff while complying with department policies and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred).
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months.
• Applicants hired after a specified date must complete steps toward level 2 advancement within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper patient identification, preparation, and documentation while respecting confidentiality.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to maximize safety and care.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate images for quality, proper positioning, and verify data transfer and storage.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
• Assist practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized radiologic procedures, including outside of the Radiology Department.
